Accessibility.chat grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service and all test pages, documentation, and resources contained therein for lawful purposes only.

Open Source License

Attribution

While not required by the MIT License, we appreciate attribution to Accessibility.chat when using or distributing our test suite.

3. Use Restrictions

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Distribute, reproduce, or transmit the Service in any manner without our prior written permission (except as permitted under the MIT License)
  • Attempt to access any portion of the Service that you are not authorized to access
  • Conduct any form of network monitoring or security testing without explicit written permission
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service, except for standard search engine indexing
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the normal functioning of the Service

4. User-Generated Content

Your Submissions

If you submit test cases, bug reports, feature requests, or other content to Accessibility.chat (including via GitHub), you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have sufficient rights to submit the content
  • The content does not violate any third-party rights
  • The content is accurate and does not contain harmful, abusive, or illegal material

Grant of Rights

By submitting content, you grant Accessibility.chat a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, modify, publish, and distribute your submissions as part of the Service or improvements thereto.

Responsibility for Content

Accessibility.chat does not pre-screen or pre-approve user submissions. We reserve the right to remove or modify any content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Modifications to Service

Accessibility.chat reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any portion thereof) at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. We will not be liable for any such modifications or discontinuation of the Service.

6. Limitation of Liability

Exclusion of Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Accessibility.chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, even if Accessibility.chat has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Limitation of Direct Damages

In no event shall Accessibility.chat's total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us for the Service, whichever is greater. However, this limitation shall not apply to claims involving personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence.

Testing Accuracy

While we strive to create accurate and comprehensive test cases, Accessibility.chat makes no warranty that the test suite will detect all accessibility violations or that tools using our test suite will achieve perfect compliance.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Accessibility.chat and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement or violation of any third-party rights
